VICSWIM Summer Kidz Update

After 35 years the respected and much loved VICSWIM Summer Learn to Swim and Water Safety program, VICSWIM Summer Kidz, will not be available to the Victorian community this summer.
The Board of Aquatics and Recreation Victoria (ARV), a non-profit organisation that conducts VICSWIM, made the decision earlier this year to turn to the state government for financial assistance to ensure that all Victorians had the opportunity to continue to participate in this valued aquatic education and water safety program, as ARV can no longer underwrite its delivery.
Although ARV is still hopeful that government assistance may be forthcoming to save VICSWIM Summer Kidz, at this late stage, this summer’s program will not go ahead.
